We’d like to apologize for the downtime of our site over the last 24 hours. There were some issues with the server we were hosted on but, thanks to the support team at Netnibble who’ve worked non-stop to put things right, we’ve had a full (and free) restore from the backups they’ve been taking automatically for us, and we’re now being hosted on a brand new swanky 4 CPU server with heaps of bandwidth and disk space.
Every cloud has a silver lining huh?!

We’ve now copied our existing galleries over into our newly designed galleries section, (it now has much more of the look and feel of the main site and blog) and now we can concentrate on adding a lot more images. Already there is the entire DOT CD 25 with some fantastic photos of scenery from Italy, Portugal, Spain, the USA, Switzerland and the UK, and we’ve also started adding some more fantasy art albums.
Stay tuned, because there’s a lot more to come!

Call it what you will, FileStar is having a refit, a bit of a makeover, a move to a new server, and generally a bit of a kick in the butt to get things going again.
We’re changing the engine that runs the site in the background to make things easier for ourselves and to give the site a more uniform look and feel, along with a move to a swanky new server (thanks Netnibble!) giving us more processor power, bandwidth, memory and disk space (yes, this last bit means a lot more galleries!
We hope that you like the new look - The old site is still there, but will be phased out very soon.

The FileStar project is taking shape
We’ll be using this blog to tell you about what’s new on the site, any bugs (and fixes) and generally keeping you up to date with events as the site develops.
